After almost a season without a win, Supernutz returned to the winner's circle. Wesley Meadows powered his way up Alto de L'Angliru to claim the victors spot.
"Today was me and my team's day. This win is not only important for me, but also for the team!" said Wesley Meadows.
"It's good to see Wesley Meadows fulfilling his ambitions winning this stage. He deserves the victory more than anyone else," said the proud manager of Supernutz, Ian MacNab, and continued: "The team was a good support for him (Wesley Meadows) today, and they clearly proved their worth in the climbs today."
"Last season, we were very focused on Meadows and Farmer, and the team race shape suffered as a result. This performance showcases how well we can do when the whole team is in good shape. I am looking forward to seeing how well we do in the Interlaken Grand Prix."
